yes, some religions call for you to learn a new language and embrace a different culture, without being open to this new language you can get lost because of this cultural barrier which will in turn effect your beliefs.

yes, minority languages should be saved from extinction because  that is part of our history, it is important to preserve as many aspects of the past as possible.

I think language of new media is part of communication and culture, without it, society wouldn't be the same, this is the way language evolve's in order to fit into it's role as a means of communication. However casual, language of new media is very much a part of culture. In this way at least, language of new media doesn't serve to corrupt language and culture, if anything it helps enhance communication between culture's with a little less punctuation involved.

we can draw our own conclusions from the context of the literature, two people from the same country reading the same piece of literature will probably have differing opinions on it. How we perceive a piece of work is often different among people of the same generation, let alone a different generation in a different country. Language effects the way we express our various conclusions.

I think so, that's why there are established languages in certain countries, and that's why some languages are banned by people in power, this is where we see slang versions of certain languages among the populace as well. My great grandmother never learned english in its entirety, she spoke spanglish because she didn't want to let go of her native roots but also needed to survive in society with a basic knowledge of the popular and predominant language.
